1. Necessary cookies
taaap uses cookies needed for authentication and security. Blocking them can prevent sign-in or account functions.
| Name | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|
| taaap_session | Keeps an authenticated user signed in; HttpOnly, Secure on HTTPS, SameSite=Lax | Up to 30 days |
| __Secure-taaap_oauth_* | Binds a temporary Google or Apple sign-in attempt to the initiating browser | Up to 10 minutes |
2. Browser storage
| Key | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| localStorage: taaap:tags-view | Remembers the owner's list or grid preference | Until cleared in the browser |
| localStorage: taaap:plan-hint:* | Remembers when a plan-usage tip was dismissed for a workspace | Until cleared; the dismissal remains effective for up to 30 days |
| localStorage: taaap:consent-preferences | Remembers separate Analytics and advertising-measurement choices | Until you change the choices or clear browser storage |
| localStorage: taaap:analytics-consent | Legacy Analytics choice; a previous approval is not carried forward and remains until a new choice is saved | Until migrated, updated, or cleared in the browser |
| sessionStorage: taaap:live-billing-attempt | Reconnects a live Stripe Checkout to the Account page without storing payment details | Until the browser tab session ends, the attempt expires, or confirmation is received |
| sessionStorage: taaap:auth-intent | Temporarily resumes sign-in or sign-up flow after a social sign-in redirect; ignored after 15 minutes | Until consumed or the browser tab session ends |
| sessionStorage: taaap.active-organization-id | Passes the selected organization to workspace requests | Until changed or the browser tab session ends |
| sessionStorage: taaap:consent-fail-closed | Keeps optional measurement denied for this tab if a consent choice could not be saved | Until the browser tab session ends |
3. Analytics, advertising measurement, and third parties
Analytics and advertising measurement are optional and remain off until you choose them. Analytics uses Google Analytics to measure public-page visits, QR-tool interactions, marketing actions, business-card creation, updates, publication, downloads and Wallet actions, and related sign-ins and account creation. Business-card events use a generic page context and limited operational labels such as file format, publication type, or Wallet provider; names, contact details, individual card URLs, and card content are not included in the event data sent by taaap. Advertising measurement sends a completed sign-up conversion to Google Ads when enabled. It does not enable ad personalization. You can choose these purposes separately.
Google tags do not load before you make a choice. If you choose only necessary storage, or dismiss the prompt without choosing, no Google tag loads. When you allow a purpose, Google may receive online identifiers, browser and device information, IP-address-derived location, referrer information, and consent-state signals. Google may set cookies for the purposes you allow.
Some pages request font files from Google Fonts. Sign-in pages and account settings may also request provider-brand images hosted by Google and Apple. These asset requests disclose standard connection information, including your IP address and browser/request metadata, to those providers even when optional measurement is off. These requests are separate from the optional Analytics and advertising-measurement tags. When you choose Google or Apple sign-in, use Stripe Checkout, or follow a third-party destination, those services may process additional information under their own notices.
Use Privacy preferences on public pages, including this notice, to change your choices. Turning off a purpose stops future taaap events for it and removes related first-party Google cookies that taaap can remove from this browser. It does not remove information already processed by Google.
